The white-fronted marmoset is a small primate that inhabits evergreen and lowland secondary forests in Colombia and Panama. It primarily feeds on tree sap, gouging the bark with its comb-like teeth and licking up the sap. Troops number 2–15 individuals and are multi-male/multi-female, but typically only one female breeds; pheromones of the dominant female suppress ovulation in other females. Breeding occurs year-round, and rearing of offspring is shared within the group. Its conservation status is Least Concern.
